Q My files are missing their first pages. How do I get them?
A This happens with a few of the first Hebe files which were put on.
Click where it says FIRST PART FREE, and that link will give you the
first page(s) in each case.
Q When will I receive my files?
A It varies, because the files are sent semi-automatically and need some
manual checking. So if you don't get your files immediately, be patient.
You will receive them usually within a few hours, but very occasionally
they may take a day or even rarely two days.
Q Some files don't download properly.
A You need THE LATEST VERSION of the Adobe/Acrobat Reader, which is
free. (Some of the new Hebe files don't show up well on older
versions of the Reader.) So do download the latest version here.
Also, some readers have reported problems when using Netscape 6.2.
They then tried Netscape 4.7 and everything was fine. Try using a
different browser.
Q I clicked on a PayPal button, but I didn’t get an e-mail in
return. What do I do?
A Don't panic. Wait at least an hour or two, then if you still
haven't had the email, send us an e-mail (the e-mail address is at the
foot of the Hebe
home page) to say what happened, and we will manually send you the
URLs which you ordered. Say which PayPal button you clicked on, and
when.
Q I'm a subscriber but I get "Access Denied".
A One subscriber had this problem when using Internet Explorer, but
found that everything worked fine using the browser Mozilla Firefox.
Q I can't save a file.
A You can save Hebe files to your computer by clicking on the Save
Copy button (it is the second button from the left on the toolbar at
the top of the page). (You can't use the File-Save As command,
that doesn't work with pdf files).
Q The Hebe system doesn’t seem to be working.
A Maybe there is a temporary problem. Check on the Hebe home page for service announcements.
